Build up the body of Christ. Support the Pentecost Offering.

Singapore

Presbyterian work in Singapore began in 1881 and continues through Presbyterian World Mission’s partners. Mission emphases of the partner church, the Presbyterian Church of Singapore, are education, mission and engagement. It is involved in pastoral and leadership development and social action, and participates in the National Council of Churches, Singapore. The primary challenges that face the church are the engagement of the government on critical social concerns, support of regional church development, and moving to establish Asian theological research.

Presbyterian Church of Singapore was one of the founding churches of Trinity College. The focus of this institution is the preparation of Christian pastors and other church workers for the Christian church in Asia. The school has established links with churches in Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka and China, and many students from these countries study at Trinity.
