My name is Maddie Cox, I’m 22 years old, and am a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies and plan to apply my degree toward community engagement in identifying environmental injustices and bringing awareness for sustainable development. My love for God has turned this passion into a call to ministry and thus, I have much to learn about how the church is responding to these challenges. Given that YAV offers experiential learning, I have accepted this call to serve at the Chicago YAV site as my exciting, faithful next step!
