My name is Andy King. I was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Eastern Mennonite University. In my free time I love to play music with friends, go on biking adventures, and relax through Yogic meditation. There are many people in this world who have not received the love that they deserve, especially from those of my race and gender. I desire to help heal past and current traumas, while also learning from the great wisdom that exists in our shared humanity. Through this year of service I plan to delve deeper into my own spirituality, form diverse relationships, and listen to the many ways that divinity speaks.
