My name is Genevieve Soucek. I am 22 years old and I am from Dallas, Texas. I am a recent graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Anthropology and a minor in German. I have always been passionate about service and over the past few years I have come to fully appreciate the importance of a holistic approach to health, one that includes one’s emotional and social wellbeing in addition to their physical wellbeing. Through my year of service in YAV in Asheville, I hope to grow both in my faith and in my professional ability by using my holistic views to serve the community in the best way I can.
