Valley Forge Presbyterian Church
Valley Forge Presbyterian Church (VFPC), founded over 65 years ago in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, is an active Matthew 25 church with the mission to help the community and follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. VFPC’s hope and goal is “unconditional community,” with partnerships including the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard (UMACC), a nonprofit community food pantry nestled in the VFPC building and launched as a partnership between VFPC, the Upper Merion School District, and other members of the local faith and municipal communities. UMACC provides food donations to food-insufficient residents within the bounds of the Upper Merion School District. Another partnership is with Upper Merion Emergency Aid, a nonprofit aid organization serving the Upper Merion, Montgomery County, area. This includes four major food giveaways, an annual Adopt A Family Holiday Program, a back-to-school shoe/school supplies giveaway and emergency assistance to families in need.
