Participants in the 2010 Peacemaking Seminar, Re-membering Peace: Still the Believers' Calling, will create a time line to celebrate Presbyterian peacemaking through the years.
If you will be attending the seminar, you are invited to bring photos (3" by 5" or 4" by 6") of Presbyterian peacemakers, either individuals or groups, or peacemaking activities. You will have the opportunity to create reminders as well.
If you are unable to attend the seminar, you are invited to send photos (3" by 5" or 4" by 6") of Presbyterian peacemakers or peacemaking activities to Mark Koenig, 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville, KY 40202 by August 18, 2001. Please do not send an original as we will not be able to return the photos. Please include the names of the individuals or a description of the activity. If possible, include the As an alternative, you may also write a note or draw a picture on a note card or on fabric.
This activity could be done in a congregation by creating a congregational time line that celebrates individuals and activities within the congregation's life.
This activity could also be done by a middle governing body that creates a time line that celebrates peacemakers and peacemaking ministries and activities in the life of the middle governing body. the time line could be displayed at a meeting or a portable time line could be created and share with congregations.
