Teo Ufford-Chase – summer 2015 intern

teo ufford-chase outside UNHey all! My name is Teo Ufford-Chase and I am the latest intern to join the team at the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations. I am a rising junior studying politics and economics at Eckerd College. This is actually my second time working as an intern here; the first was back in April of 2013. I am very excited to be back at the United Nations, a place that I feel is at the center of so much positive change in the world.

I feel very enthusiastic about having the opportunity to return to the UN, since I believe that the past several years have given me a different perspective and many new questions about the world. At the UN I hope to have the opportunity to explore several issues that I have recently become interested in. After having spent Spring 2015 studying abroad in Xiamen, China I am looking forward to investigating issues related China from a global perspective here at the UN. I believe that spending the summer getting a front row seat watching world politics unfold will open up many new horizons for me. I don’t know where the end of the road may be, but I can’t wait to experience what promises to be one of the most exciting new installments in my journey.

I am member of Stony Point Presbyterian Church
