Rockland U.N.I.T.E. for Harmony, an interfaith group comprised of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim teens from Rockland County in New York, have been building relationships for 18 months.

Inspired by the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week, the young people’s goal has been to learn about one another’s religious traditions and to stand firmly against violence. In the end, the real success has been in developing deep friendships with one another.

This presentation culminates their time together and focuses on breaking stereotypes and creating positive interfaith interactions. Our goal is to create peace and harmony among people of all faiths. Please join us to hear what we have learned about each other and ourselves. We will be revealing our short documentary as well as digging deep to make positive changes for the future!

If you are unable to join us in person, the event will be live streamed starting at 12:30 eastern time on June 8 at https://youtu.be/VaYR4YdYhLM – located on Stony Point Center’s Youtube channel.

This is going to be really cool – check it out if you can!

Our ministry is honored to have had a small role in this amazing project.
