LOUISVILLE — “Ministry is about relationships,” says Ian J. Hall.

Hall started his ministry as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation, on Monday, June 28.

“Ian seeks to serve Jesus Christ,” A Corporation President Kathy Lueckert stated. “I am delighted that he brings his faith commitment and his skills and ‘new eyes’ to the Administrative Services Group leadership team and to ASG.”

“I am here to learn, and I am here to serve,” Hall said. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with ASG team members as we assist the church in ministry.”

Beyond building relationships with the people with whom he serves, a major priority for Hall as he begins his ministry is an upgrade of the financial systems and software used by ASG. This important project has a launch goal of October 1.

Other projects will follow as Hall works with the Administrative Services Group’s Finance and Accounting, Information Technologies, and the Presbyterian Distribution Center/Hubbard Press teams. He will also provide support to ASG’s client partners.

“Strong relationships and collaboration are important values for ASG,” noted Lueckert. “Ian’s emphasis on building relationships and collaborating will strengthen the ministry of ASG.”

“The ASG Leadership Team and Kathy have been very welcoming,” Hall said. “I look forward to learning more about my role and our shared ministry. It is a privilege to work for a faith-based organization that shares my values.”

Hall graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, England, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Outdoor Recreation Management. Hall worked for the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church for more than 20 years, beginning work there as the marketing director of the Outdoor Ministries program and serving for the past six years as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.

Hall, his wife Laura, and their children look forward to getting to know the Louisville area and to building relationships in the community.
