The Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) voted unanimously today to ask General Assembly 223 (2018) meeting in St. Louis this summer to confirm its election of the Rev. Dr. Diane Moffett to a four-year term as president and executive director of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, one of the six agencies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Following an expansive national search, the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) today elected the Rev. Dr. Diane Moffett president and executive director of the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA), one of six agencies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Moffett will assume leadership on June 11, 2018. Her appointment is subject to confirmation by the 223rd General Assembly, which meets in St. Louis, June 16-23, 2018.

Internal team chosen to manage Presbyterian Mission Agency

The Presbyterian Mission Agency Board (PMAB) Coordinating Committee (formerly the Executive Committee) today appointed three members of PMA leadership to temporarily manage the agency until a permanent executive director is in place.

Mission Agency Receives Clean Audit for 2017

The 2017 financial statements for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), A Corporation, have received a “clean opinion” from their independent auditors, indicating they believe the statements “present fairly, in all material respects,” A Corporation’s financial position and operations. The 2017 audit was conducted by MCM CPAs & Advisors LLP. This is the first year that MCM has audited the financial statements for the A Corporation.

Governance Task Force issues invitation

Representatives of the Governance Task Force (GTF) of the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA), the Way Forward Commission (WFC), and the All Agency Review Committee (AARC) are meeting in early April for continuing conversations in hopes of finding common ground.
