My name is Rachel Palmiero and I’m 26 years old. I grew up in Beacon, New York, graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in sociology with a concentration in human services. I love to travel and learn about different cultures, and I have a passion for social justice. This year I will be serving as Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) in Denver. I look forward to a year of building friendships, gaining valuable work experience and serving the marginalized people of Denver.
