Hannah Nelson

Hi there, my name is Hannah Nelson. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a dual degree in psychology and Spanish, as well as a minor in community action and social change. Much of my education and many of my life experiences have exposed me to the unique intersection of these areas of study, and I am eager to explore that learning in new ways during my year as a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) in Colombia. Through the gracious invitation I’ve received to enter into a new community, I’m hopeful this will be a mutually beneficial opportunity for restorative relationship-building and intercultural learning. Throughout this experience, I hope to know and share the sustaining love of the Lord more fully.
