Hey y’all! My name is Hallie Conrad, I am 22, and a native of Clemson, South Carolina. I attended College of Charleston where I majored in History and minored in Anthropology. Following my YAV year, I hope to pursue a Master’s in Public History, focusing on accessibility and digitalization. I have always been intrigued by New Orleans and I could not be more excited to get the opportunity to serve there. Throughout college, I was a witness to many of the same problems Nola faces, such as urban poverty and natural disasters. I am looking forward to experiencing a whole new city while also understanding all that has shaped it. I am eager to begin this new adventure and ready for all that is to come!
