My name is Christina Hogan. I’m from Washington, D.C., and I am currently a first-year YAV, serving in New Orleans (NOLA). Here in NOLA I work at Eden House, a comprehensive, residential recovery program for female survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. I graduated from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, in 2017, with a degree in social work. This year has helped me to discern a more solid plan of where I want my degree to take me, and I am so excited to take everything I’ve learned to a second YAV year in New York.
