My name is Andrew Avram. I am 23 years old and have recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I have lived multiple places throughout my childhood, including Pennsylvania, Illinois, Connecticut and, most recently, Scottsdale, Arizona, where I spent my high school years and where I am currently preparing for my upcoming YAV year in Peru. I am of the belief that regardless of where we come from or unique challenges that we have faced, we all have something to offer and can learn from one and other. I also believe that a world able to live out this truth is a better one. In this upcoming year, I am most looking forward to offering my time and attention in all the ways that I can, in addition to growing, learning and connecting with those that I encounter in hopes of finding common ground in both our past experiences, but also through a vision for a world where people can learn from each other and live together happily.
