My name is Alex Banning. I am a 24 year old native of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in history and communication studies. I have spent the last year substitute teaching and participating in the virtual YAV program. I am so excited to accept the call to serve in Asheville, NC! This year I look forward to being challenged and growing alongside my fellow YAVs and the people of Asheville, meanwhile discerning my vocation and God’s call to service.
