Come to me, all you that are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Welcome to the PC(USA) Evangelism Conference page, where you can find up-to-date information about our upcoming conference in October 2018 at Zephyr Point, Lake Tahoe. The theme for the conference this year is Sabbath Rest, Holy Surrender, Full Life, through which we’ll be inviting participants to consider what it really means to bear witness to Christ’s reconciliation by transforming our ministries into Sabbath Communities.
Make no mistake, this is no ordinary conference. Every part of the gathering is intentionally designed to both challenge our thinking about Sabbath and invite us to participate in Sabbath practices together. Presbyterian Mission’s coordinator for Christian Formation — Jason Brian Santos — talks about the deeper meaning of Sabbath.
October 15-19, 2018. Onsite registration will open at 11:00 AM Monday, October 15, 2018 and the conference will begin with welcome and group dinner at 5:30 PM. The conference concludes with breakfast at 8:00 AM on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Everyone needs a quiet setting — a place to listen to God — again, or for the first time. Zephyr Point is one of those special places. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada, on a half-mile of Lake Tahoe shoreline, Zephyr Point is one of the most beautiful retreat centers in the world. Its Christian presence over the years witnesses that God, indeed, dwells among us.
“Zephyr Point is a haven where God’s presence seems to reach out from the snowy mountains and the deep blue lake to drape the world-weary visitors in a profound peace.” – Chicago Tribune Correspondent
