Stated Clerk Urges Farm Bill Reform

This weekend the Louisville Courier-Journal
ran a Letter to the Editor from Rev. Clifton Kirkpatrick, Stated Clerk
of the General Assembly PC(USA) calling on Senator Mitch McConnell to
continue to his support for meaningful commodity program payment limits
such as the Dorgan-Grassley amendment.

As the Senate continues its work before the Thanksgiving recess, the farm bill is on the schedule for Tuesday. Calls and emails are still needed. The votes for refrom are going to be close.

Join Rev. Kirkpatrick and other people of faith in calling on the Senate to reform the farm bill by enacting meaningful payments. Take Action Now.
