Presbyterian Mental Health Ministries Sign up form thank you

Greetings and welcome!

Thank you for your interest in the Presbyterian Mental Health Network (PMHN)!  The Presbyterian Mental Health Network (PMHN) is a key part of the mental health initiative adopted by General Assembly in 2018.

You have just completed a one-stop sign-up form that adds you to the mailing list of PMHN and ensures you will also receive updates from the PCUSA Office of Mental Health Ministry.

It is my pleasure to introduce Jinah Yoon, Membership Coordinator for PMHN.  Jinah will tell you more about PMHN in her message below and be your first point of contact with PMHN going forward.

Peace and blessings,

 Donna Miller, PsychD

Associate for Mental Health Ministry
Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.

Greetings!

Thank you for your interest. The Presbyterian Mental Health Network (PMHN) is a grassroots movement of individuals and entities coming together for the purpose of advocating, educating, and increasing mental health ministry across PCUSA and beyond. We are clergy, church members, educators, mental health providers, activists, allies, individuals with lived experience and our loved ones. We join the larger movement toward empowering those who live with mental health issues knowing that this is inextricably tied to our own movement forward. This comes at a time when we are witnessing an unprecedented push for positive change, especially in challenging and dismantling systemic racism and addressing our healthcare crisis made clear by the global pandemic. Our discussions on mental health within this new landscape have never felt more pressing.

Donna Miller is the bridge between the PCUSA and the PMHN. As the Membership Coordinator of the PMHN, I am the one standing on the PMHN side of that bridge. We are still in the early stages of formation and organization but we hope to engage with you at a more active level soon. We are excited to share our big ideas with you but before we engage, we want to make sure we will use your generously offered gifts, talents, and time wisely. In the meantime, I wanted to reach out to thank you, to let you know that your interest and participation are important to us, and to assure you that I will be getting back to you. Please feel welcome to email me at Membership@PMHN.org  should you have any questions or comments. I look forward to our future exchanges.
