Hi! My name is Lane, and I am serving as a YAV for the 2022-2023 year in Asheville, North Carolina. My work placement is at a non-profit called Just Economics that does public policy advocacy for a livable wage. I attended the University of Florida where I studied History and Dance and just graduated in August of 2022 with high honors. Throughout college, I worked as an outdoor guide leading backpacking, canoeing, and surfing trips. I also spent three summers working on staff at Montreat. I am so excited to learn and grow this year and am so thankful for the outpouring of love and support I have received!
