Hello, my name is Helen Richardson, and I am 21 years old. Reared in North Richland Hills, Texas, I moved to Virginia to go to college at the University of Richmond. In May 2018, I will graduate with majors in geography and international studies and minors in history, mathematics, and women, gender and sexuality studies. At the University of Richmond, I have discovered my passion for service-learning, interfaith work and justice work. This coming year, I will serve in a priority area of Scotland as a Young Adult Volunteer. I look forward to the new challenges I will face, and I am excited to grow in faith as I accompany and work with others pursuing freedom, justice and peace.
