My name is Harrison Davis. I am from New Haven, Connecticut, and I recently turned 22 years old. I have also just graduated from Princeton University, where I studied music composition, Arabic and computer science (although I was only majoring/concentrating in music – the other topics were interest studies).
Thus far in my life, my faith has been a mostly private practice – my spiritual beliefs a small beacon of light I’ve been carrying quietly and patiently within me. In this upcoming year, in which I will be residing in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Young Adult Volunteer, I hope to challenge this spiritual model. Through my year of service, I aim to nurture the spirit collaboratively with others and to engage in questions on what it means to be a part of a larger faith community.
