Denominational Communications Survey available in Korean, Spanish

Results of survey will inform next steps

LOUISVILLE – Casting the net wide to invite and include as many Presbyterians as possible to participate in the Denominational Communications Survey, Korean and Spanish versions of the survey are now available.

“We value the input from all our sisters and brothers,” said Kathy Francis, senior director of communications at the Presbyterian Mission Agency. “The denominational survey is designed to determine what the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) most wants and needs from communications.”

Launched earlier this month, the survey is a result of the communications leaders of each of the six agencies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), as well as Presbyterian Women, seeking to find out how the national communications offices can best serve congregations and mid councils.

Since the 221st General Assembly in 2014, the communications directors have been meeting monthly to share resources and best practices and discern ways to collaborate on denominational communications. The results of this survey will inform their next steps, which include the development of a collaborative communications plan for the denomination. This was part of the Way Forward Commission’s recommendations that were approved at the 223rd General Assembly in 2018.
