The United Nations recently created two websites addressing the ways in which people can support the recently adopted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their everyday actions.  The first website, “The Lazy Person’s Guide to Saving the World,” offers tips on how to reduce consumption and waste while advocating equality for all.  Featuring three levels of involvement—“Sofa Superstar,” “Household Hero,” and “Neighbourhood Nice Guy,” this guide has ideas for a wide variety of people to get involved.

The second website, “Year of Living Sustainably,” offers even more ways that people can support the SDGs every day.  Besides featuring videos and articles on living sustainably, the UN encourages people to submit ideas for topics to post, and invites people to tell the UN what they would like to see mentioned on the site.
