NNPCW offers two types of scholarships

Event Scholarships

Scholarships are available to young women ages 18-25 to attend conferences and workshops as a representative of NNPCW. Events should be geared toward young adults or women.

By attending conferences, you can connect with other church leaders, deepen your understanding of PC(USA) and specific ministries and engage in fellowship.

The scholarships provide financial assistance to defray the cost for registration fees and travel expenses.

Recipients of the scholarships are expected to attend events as NNPCW representatives and to complete a brief report to help other young, college-age women learn from their experiences.

The deadline is rolling, but scholarships are limited, so submit your completed application as soon as possible.

NNPCW Academic Scholarship Fund

Deadline for 2014-2015 application is April 20, 2014.

NNPCW’s academic scholarship program helps equip young women to be leaders in both church and society. We are offering two scholarships this year: one $1,500 scholarship for an NNPCW member active in empowering women on her campus and one $1,500 scholarship for a new immigrant woman pursuing a college education.

  • Be a woman between the ages of 18 and 25.
  • Be an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Provide a transcript.
  • Be involved in a Christian church or campus ministry.
  • Write two essays answering these questions:
    1) How does your faith inform your studies and your vocational choice?
    2) How do you integrate NNPCW’s mission commitment (we commit to feminism as an extension of our Christian belief that all people are made in the image of God as equals) into your past and future activism on campus?
  • Demonstrate financial need.

  • Be a full-time student.
