Mission Matters: Better Together

“We are truly better together.”

December 2013 - It’s likely not the first time you’ve read or heard those words in reference to our work within Presbyterian World Mission.  But, what exactly do we mean by that? And, why is it so important to sharing God’s Word and serving others around the globe?

Mission co-worker Cindy Morgan (center) is able to help families and children in Bangladesh because of your financial and prayerful support.

Mission co-worker Cindy Morgan (center) is able to address the health needs of families and children in Bangladesh because of your financial and prayerful support.

Simply put – we cannot help others or spread the love of Jesus Christ alone. We need you. We need our mission co-workers. We need our partners abroad and our partner congregations. We need each other.

Without your financial and prayerful support, we could not help the most marginalized. You make it possible for our mission co-workers to lift up women and children who are mired in poverty and cultures of violence.  You make it possible for us to train pastors for community transformation.  You make it possible for us to support partner organizations working to ease suffering.

Meet some of those whose lives are being transformed by our work together in the below short video.  Share it with others and consider making a year end gift to Presbyterian World Mission.

I thank you for whatever God is calling you to give this year.

We are truly better together.

In this short video, you'll see some of the examples of how we're working together to serve all God's people. Share it with others via email or social media so they too can experience the joy and wonder of Christ's love in action.
