But can't we just "eat, pray, love'? That would be so much easier! Great comments Charles. I remember Thomas Gillespie (president Emeritus of Princeton Theological Seminary) differentiating for us first year students that being a minister of Word and Sacrament is NOT about doing ministry its about "doing" theology. Have had good discussions lately with a colleague who "believes" in Karma about how I think Grace is so much better. I still like Bono's comment, "Grace travels outside of Karma." Haven't yet asked my colleague what she did that resulted in her car being pummeled by hail whereas others nearby did not.
