Since 1949 Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world. Your generous gifts to this Special Offering help provide relief those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and assist in helping to empower the poor and oppressed.

Your gift to One Great Hour of Sharing will support the following:

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance  |  Presbyterian Hunger Program  |  Self-Development of People

When is the One Great Hour of Sharing offering received?

Most congregations receive the offering on Easter Sunday, Passion/Palm Sunday or both, while many receive it throughout Lent—however, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering by making an online gift at any time throughout the year.

  • I wasn't sure from your previous responses whether the ecumenical video would be available for download &/or on the DVD you will be sending out. I would really like to show it at my church. We will begin our OGHS campaign on March 11. Mid-March is really late to receive the additional videos. by Carol Thomas on 02/13/2012 at 8:22 p.m.

  • Carole, the skits that we have for OGHS are located on this site under the Downloadable Resources tab (http://www.pcusa.org/resource/one-great-hour-sharing-childrens-skits/). I hope you find these helpful. by Teresa Mader on 02/13/2012 at 4:59 p.m.

  • Fredericka, at this time, there is an ecumenical video live on the site. Program videos, each about a minute long, will be available on the site by mid-March. A physical copy of the DVD will be mailed to every congregation. by Teresa Mader on 02/13/2012 at 4:52 p.m.

  • Nancy, if you are referring to the ecumenical video that is now live on the site, it can be viewed here and on YouTube. Program videos will be live on this site by mid-March and a physical DVD will also be mailed to every congregation. by Teresa Mader on 02/13/2012 at 4:34 p.m.

  • I'd really like to have a DVD of the video I just saw on this site for my church's OGHS effort. (First Presbyterian Church of Ilion NY. Do I need to order it or as mentioned in above "comment", it will be sent to each congregation.? by Nancy White on 02/09/2012 at 4:40 p.m.
