Why we Give.

Through the four churchwide Special Offerings, we can help meet the needs of our sisters & brothers around the world. Whether by helping a community recover in the wake of a disaster, assisting a pastor's family in their time of personal crisis, or by making peace in classrooms by helping to prevent bullying, our gifts to the Special Offerings continue to be a strong catalyst for positive transformation in the lives of others and serve as a visible witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Although each individual offering is received by congregations at a specific time during the year, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Special Offerings by making an online gift at any time throughout the year or by giving to the Special Offerings general fund, which is split evenly among each offering.

  • Hi Lynne, We added a new link to our page for the summary resource you're seeking. You can find it in the top left-hand side of the screen listed as "Special Offerings Summary". by on 03/06/2013 at 10:30 a.m.

  • The past couple of years I was able to download a 1-pg. sheet that briefly described each of the 4 Special Offerings. It also included how (by percentage) each of the offerings help. Can anyone help me find this same document for 2013? I'd like to present it to our Stew & Miss committe and session. by Lynne Hanna on 01/09/2013 at 12:51 p.m.
