What We Do

September 7 - October 5, 2014

An introduction and invitation

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18–19

Jesus calls us to be peacemakers.

Path of Peace

The 2014 Path of Peace daily reflections were authored by Presbyterians who travelled to Israel and Palestine in April/May of 2014 for the Peacemaking Program conference, Mosaic of Peace. Conference participants reflected on scripture readings from The Biblical Witness to Peacemaking and were guided by stories and experiences shared by our Israeli and Palestinian church partners, who live with military occupation as the backdrop of church life.  To receive these daily reflections by email (September 7 – October 4, 2014), please subscribe below.

  • Hi, Sharon - We emailed you the b&w version of the Season of Peace logo a little bit ago, but you can also find this by visiting the Peacemaking Offering artwork web page. Just copy and paste the following link in your browser: http://www.presbyterianmission.org/ministries/specialofferings/peacemaking-offering-art/ by Jordan Whitt on 09/04/2012 at 2:29 p.m.

  • Do you have a file of the Season of Peace logo that is black and white? If so, please send me information on how I can get that file. We are trying to save money on color copying. Thanks! by Sharon Jensen on 09/04/2012 at 1:52 p.m.
