living water for girls logoLiving Water for Girls/Circle of Friends thank-you letter

Dear Presbyterian Women,

Living Water for Girls is truly grateful to have been selected as a Birthday Offering grant recipient for 2012. The gift most surely will have an impact on the lives of girls in America who have been victimized by prostitution, commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. When our girls arrive at Living Water for Girls, they are in desperate need of healing, rehabilitation and restoration; their faces are void of happiness and the scars within are difficult to repair. When we are able to provide counseling, educational and vocational services, medical care, spiritual guidance and teach them that they are valuable human beings, little by little, they begin to smile from within. Your contribution to Living Water for Girls will provide opportunities to do just that.

A chapel, counseling and educational center and culinary arts program are definitely program areas that this Birthday Grant will be applied to. The day I received notice that we had received the grant it was my birthday. Truly a birthday gift that I will never forget! Your willingness to partner with Living Water for Girls in the restorative process for our girls means a great deal to me, and it most definitely makes a difference for the better in the the lives of young American girls who have survived the brutality of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

With sincere gratitude,

Lisa Williams
