2015 Wild Goose Festival

July 9-12, Hot springs, North Carolina

We have special pricing for presbyterians! See below.

Register Now

You are invited!  Presbyterians will join hundreds of Wild Goose Festival goers in Hot Springs, NC again this year.

Presbyterians are sponsoring a Presbyterian Hospitality Tent and a Justice Tent Display, as well as staking out a Presbyterian campsite upriver at campsite #557. Feel free to join us a fair distance away from the music stage. The first 7-8 tents (fewer if they are large) to arrive should have room to set up. Others may wish to be closer to the action.

We also have worked out a discounted rate — half price! — for Presbyterians. $150 covers your Festival registration and some earth to set your tent up on. Register as usual at the Wild Goose Festival site and enter the promo code PRESBY to get the $149 off.

Here is what Wild Goose is about…
Wild Goose Invitation
What the Wild Goose community believes is best discovered through shared experience. There is no litmus test beyond an open heart. There is no creed required beyond a willingness to meet respectfully across lines of difference, to share wisdom and listen to each other’s stories, and become more than the sum of our parts. Ultimately, Wild Goose provides space for courageous, imaginative, and participative social justice work, creative expression, spiritual practice, and astonishing music.
We believe that the best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better; so we refuse to merely denounce the shadow of the tradition and abandon it. Instead, we humbly seek to both tear down and build up, walking a path that embodies love of God, neighbor, and self.
We dream of a movement where everyone is welcome to participate. We are intentionally building a space in which we invite everyone to value, respect, and fully affirm people of any ethnicity, age, gender, gender expression, sexual identity, education, bodily condition, religious affiliation, or economic background, particularly the marginalized. We are committed to fair trade, gift exchange, ecological sanity, and economic inclusion. We strive for high standards of mutual respect, non-hierarchical leadership, and participative planning.  We invite you to join us.

A Presbyterian Peacemaking Conference in Israel/Palestine

We are called to be witnesses to and for peace in the Holy Land.  In faithful and hope-filled response, the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program’s Mosaic of Peace conference invites Presbyterians to experience this remarkable and troubled region, encounter its diverse people, explore its rich history and complex current situation, and engage with those who seek its peace.

  • I am really grateful to God for the way you make peace, I am really impacted by visiting your website. If possible, I would like to attend Peace making seminars. If God opens a way for me through you, I will really be satisfied to the Lord. by Ephraim Thein Maung on 01/24/2012 at 8:50 a.m.
