Glade Springs (VA) Presbyterian Church, damaged by April tornado
Mayfield, New York, Presbyterian Church destroyed, but congregation will continue to feed the hungry in their community.

Tuscaloosa – Winds of Hope: 7 minute video
Numerous tornadoes across the southern states including Alabama; NRT serving in 11 presbyteries
Palm Sunday weekend tornadoes in North Carolina and Virginia
Midwest/Heartland
Severe flooding in the Midwest; 11,000 evacuated in North Dakota
Hocking County, Ohio, flooded but ineligible for federal funding; local churches working together to plan long-term recovery
Storms continue; update on churches in Joplin, Missouri
A tornado in Joplin, Missouri, caused major damage and left dozens of people dead. PDA will provide an update as soon as more information is available.
Damage from extensive flooding not yet fully known; Gift of the Heart Kits have been distributed; PDA will work with presbyteries as they look toward recovery and rebuilding.

Extensive flooding in major cities has also affected many smaller communities; PDA is thankful for Gift of the Heart kits, including clean up buckets, which are greatly needed.
