Recovery in Haiti
In Haiti, children attend school and homes are being rebuilt following the January 2010 earthquake. Rubble remains, a reminder that recovery takes time. In this video clip Willys Geffard, from PDA’s partner CRWRC (Christian Reformed World Relief Committee) in Haiti, reflects upon the progress of ongoing house rebuilding programs and the hope and determination of the Haitian people."

Praying for Haitians a year after the quake
MPP reports on response to January earthquake, Hurricane Tomas, and cholera outbreak: final disbursement of emergency phase supplies; beginning rehabilitation activities; first harvest of vegetables to come in December.
Hurricane Tomas leaves many living in muddy water; PDA partners are providing clean drinking water, latrines and showers.
Hurricane Tomas flooded Léogâne, displacing many who were living in tents because of the January earthquake. The response is concentrated on reducing the threat of cholera.
November 5, 2010 – Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) and our partners in Haiti have been closely monitoring the path of Hurricane Tomas and have plans to address the after effect of the storm.
October 26, 2010 - PDA is responding to the cholera outbreak; hygiene is key to prevention

Non-PC(USA) organizations and corporations, are not eligible for this process.

Around the Moringa Tree: A Bible Study Curriculum — a study for children, this resource introduces the amazing Moringa Tree and how it provides nutrition, sustenance and health for many hungry people in God’s world. One of the places Moringa is at work is in Haiti, where PC(USA) mission co-worker Mark Hare works with the Mouvman Peyizan Papay (MPP).
