Mission Volunteers USA serve from a few weeks to a year or more. You may apply at any time by completing a Onedoor profile. Once you have applied, you may contact the site directly, or they may contact you. Applicants to Mission Volunteers USA are not required to submit an application for mission service to the recruitment office. The sites to which you apply will advise you as to their own application and screening process. The sites provide room, board, access to accident/illness insurance and sometimes a small stipend. The volunteer may be asked to raise a portion of his or her support. The project also provides orientation and evaluation of the work assignment.
