I am currently a student at San Francisco Theological Seminary, studying for my M Div. My year as a YAV in India will be part of my coursework. I am originally from North Carolina where my dad serves as a pastor. I have served in the Marine Corps for 4 years, where I worked with tanks. In India, I will work at a school called Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Cherthala. There I will teach some English classes, and I’ll be involved in school activities as a whole.

The Young Adult Volunteer program is a year-long service program for young adults between ages 19 and 30. Read more about the YAV program here
