After graduating from college and spending a year in the typical adult world, I find my life lacking the challenges needed to keep me yearning for God. So, I have been asking God to pull me out of the material world that I have grown so comfortable in. There is so much noise in my life, at this moment, and I hope that my year with YAV will refocus my mind and heart on His voice. Even more so, I'm searching for discernment, humility, and clarity. I have a purpose that is a definite, but I am searching for the adventure that will reflect my love and earnest desire for submission to God's will. I will serve with DOOR in Hollywood as the Neighborhood Coordinator. I get the awesome job of hanging out with kids, getting to know families, and creating programs that reflect their needs and passions. I look forward to living and learning in intentional community with other young adult volunteers.
