Even before we started dating, we had been individually interested in living abroad. After we got married, we have been discussing where and when we should go. Last year we started looking at programs, and after a few months came across Young Adult Volunteers. This program was perfect for us: a year commitment, we will be part of a faith community, and we will live in a very different culture. We are so excited about continuing our faith journey and seeing what God has planned for us in this year of service!
The Young Adult Volunteer program is a year-long service program for young adults between ages 19 and 30. Read more about the YAV program here
