Clergy Support Groups

Ministers find their ministry strengthened by meeting together regularly with colleagues in a structured way. Clergy colleague groups can provide support, mutual accountability, spiritual nurture, and growth in ministry effectiveness.

Some ministers form ecumenical lectionary study groups. Others meet with Presbyterians within a region of their presbytery. Some choose to meet with pastors of similar size churches or ministry contexts. Some of the most effective groups have designated facilitators.
