Mission Engagement and Support

Connecting Presbyterian generosity for the sake of Christ’s mission

Presbyterians answer God’s call to mission by devoting our hearts, hands, voices, and resources to loving God and loving our neighbors. Through mission we respond to the Great Commandment to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves, a summons to action that Jesus illustrated with the parable of the Good Samaritan. Jesus expanded the definition of neighbor far beyond the confines of geography and drew a circle of inclusion that encompasses everyone. The unbounded love of God is also at the core of Christ’s Great Commission and its mandate to share the gospel with people everywhere. Presbyterian Mission Engagement and Support helps individuals, congregations and mid councils join with other Presbyterians to further God’s mission across our country and around the world. We invite Presbyterians to support Presbyterian mission through their prayers and financial gifts as we interpret and promote the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). By working together, Presbyterians’ collective impact far exceeds what can be done by a single congregation or individual.

From large U.S. cities to remote African villages, Presbyterians are involved in ministries that are transforming lives in Christ’s name. Poverty is being alleviated, the hopeless are hearing the good news, adversaries are being reconciled, disaster-stricken communities are being rebuilt, God’s creation is being restored, outcasts are experiencing welcome, and barriers of culture, race and ethnicity are tumbling down. These ministries depend on your prayers and financial gifts. Presbyterian Mission Engagement and Support helps facilitate your participation in God’s mission.
