Mission Trips

A short-term mission trip is an exciting, engaging experience in which faith is put into action by partnering with brothers and sisters from different cultures and life experiences. Participation in a mission trip offers both travelers and hosts the opportunity to see themselves with new eyes as they cross cultural and often spiritual borders.

For Such a Time as This Pastoral Residency Program

For Such a Time as This is a program which seeks to pair small, under-served congregations with recent seminary graduates in a two-year pastoral residency relationship.  During the program, pastoral residents — who will be ordained to the ministry of the Word and Sacrament as Designated Pastors — will be supported and guided by a network of pastor/mentors, presbytery, seminary and national church leaders. The presbyteries of Heartland, Tropical Florida, Upper Ohio Valley, Western North Carolina, West Virginia and Northeast Georgia/Charleston-Atlantic, are partnering with this program in 2011.
