A Sacred Space: A Mother’s Strength
The Presbyterian Haiti Response Team is currently working on a documentary following those affected by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. This will be a long term project spanning several years. Through it, you are invited into the "Sacred Space" of those impacted by the disaster as they rebuild.
In the following stories about Marie and her family, you’ll experience how Haitians - thanks in part to your donations, mission work, and prayers - are coming together to overcome incredible odds.

The Strength to Move Forward
Marie Hippolite could do little more than watch as her house collapsed during the 2010 earthquake. She found herself suddenly homeless and on her own to care for her two children and a grandchild. Watch the video and hear Marie’s incredible story. She shares why she then took in an orphaned child, why Haitian women continue to persevere in tragedy, and why she’s now filled with joy. See and share the video via youtube.com.
