A Sacred Space: A Brother Provides

Joseph and his family

Joseph and his family

The Presbyterian Haiti Response Team is currently working on a documentary following those affected by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. This will be a long term project spanning several years. Through it, you are invited into the "Sacred Space" of those impacted by the disaster as they rebuild.

In the following stories about Joseph and his family, you’ll experience how Haitians - thanks in part to your donations, mission work and prayers - are coming together to overcome incredible odds.

Learn even more about GAMC's recovery efforts in Haiti.

From Adversity to Renewal

Joseph lost his parents, his younger brother, and his home in the earthquake of 2010.   At just 23, he had not only endured incredible loss but was the only one left to provide for his four siblings.

Now, Joseph is able to take time to remember and rejoice.  He has a home and is able to care for his loved ones.  Watch his story, and learn how Presbyterian recovery efforts are transforming his life and the lives of others.
