Started in 1913 by a Presbyterian missionary, Bethany Hospital continues to serve the people of this island community. Community Health Programs are in constant need of funding. Funds will support the outreach programs to remote areas and smaller islands and provide supplies and equipment.

In Thailand, thankfully, the numbers of new leprosy cases is now decreasing. McKean has expanded its vision to integrate other disabled people in its hospital-based and community-based rehabilitation ministry, bringing new hope and quality of life to many.
