Mission Initiative: Joining Hearts & Hands
Joining Hearts & Hands, mandated by the 214th General Assembly (2002), has been a six-year campaign in partnership with individuals, congregations and presbyteries to raise $40 million for national church growth and the expansion of our mission work abroad.
Although Joining Hearts & Hands gave its final report and closed the books on new pledges at the 218th General Assembly (2008), payments toward existing pledges will be accepted through December 31, 2012.
Receipts and Disbursements
When the 214th General Assembly (2002) approved the implementation of Mission Initiative: Joining Hearts & Hands, the General Assembly Mission Council was directed to provide progress reports to the 215th (2003), 216th (2004), 217th (2006), 218th (2008) and 219th (2010) General Assemblies, and to report quarterly the cash receipts and disbursements of all Mission Initiative Funds on the Web. These reports are published below.

Paying Pledges
If you are an individual, church, middle governing body or church-related organization making payments toward an existing pledge to the Mission Initiative: Joining Hearts & Hands, your gifts toward that pledge will be accepted through December 31, 2012.
