The Fair Food list provides information about the campaign for fair food initiated by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) and supported by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It seeks to establish socially responsible purchasing by large corporate buyers and human rights for farmworkers in corporate supply chains.

www.thevolunteerway.org We serve over 20000 families each month with food. We need to find new sources of perishable and non-perishable food to give free of any fees to hungry people of Central Florida

And some more good news for members of the Chapman U community which uses Sodexo as its food service provider: CIW forged a fair food agreement with Sodexo in late August!

I was glad to learn more about Presbyterian USA and their women standing up for Fair Food. I went to the Chapman University Conference. I attend First Presbyterian Church of Newhall with the San Fernando Presbytery. Carol Ramnarine
