Each year the Presbyterian Hunger Program sponsors international Fair Trade Delegationsto meet small-scale Fair Trade coffee farmers, artisans and cooperatives. Join us to meet Presbyterians from across the denomination and Fair Trade producers abroad as we learn together in cross cultural exchange.
World Fair Trade Day: The second Saturday in May each year

2012: The United Nations’ International Year of Cooperatives
The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2012 as the International Year of Cooperatives, highlighting the contribution of cooperatives to socio-economic development, particularly their impact on poverty reduction, employment generation and social integration.
