Bright Stars
Children in Palestine constitute over 50% of the Palestinian population. They have increasingly become children at risk. In an environment of increased violence, the project focuses on expressing the emotions, fears, thoughts and visions of the young people with a creative, holistic approach and a large variety of techniques to motivate and stretch their imaginations and possibilities. The children gather in different art, music, sports, communication and environmental clubs according to their talents and gifts. Toward building a Family Life Center on the Ohio Campus to support the residential cottages, the foster care families, the charter school families and a surrounding community of several small towns and rural areas. The Family Life Center will include classrooms, recreation areas and administrative offices. It will expand our residential village of care to a community that cares. This request presents approximately one-third of the total dollar cost of the project, but its value in demonstrating donor support is beyond measure.
