Theological Educator, South Sudan
This project funds an educator to work with the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCOSS) Giffen Bible School. The mission worker gives witness to Jesus Christ while serving the church by providing support in theological training of PCOSS pastors. The mission worker also teaches community health evangelism (CHE) as part of the regular curriculum in order to prepare candidates for ministry in a holistic community based approach, as well as to follow up on CHE work around South Sudan and be part of a PC(USA) mission team working to strengthen all ministries at a community based level in South Sudan. Rev. Jacob and Aliamma George have been serving in this ministry since July 2010.
