Training Chaplain/Chigodi Women's Centre Administrator
While the numbers of ministers is increasing significantly in the Synod of Blantyre, on average every minister is serving four congregations. Pastors are so busy that they find it difficult to be refreshed in mind and in spirit. This mission worker will be responsible for organizing, facilitating and/or leading continuing education opportunities for all Synod pastors in areas such as theology, discipleship training, stewardship, communication, pastoral counseling, HIV/AIDS, and leadership development. She will facilitate spiritual reflection and renewal opportunities to pastors of the Synod. She will also work with all elements of administration for the Chigodi Women's Centre. This position is currently filled by Rev. Kay Day.
